Stereo Audio amplifier guide

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Stereo Audio amplifier guide

Post by thewise1 »

I got a couple requests so I made this diagram of how to wire the TPA6021A4 Stereo Audio Amplification circuit. It has volume adjustment, and a headphone jack. I recommend using speakers with a high frequency though. A lot of games have high tones that don't play on some speakers.

This is a lot easier to understand than the TI datasheet. Thanks.

It is. I'm not trying to steal your limelight, just posting for the sake of completion. Mind if I throw your diagram in the article?

What kind of range can the speakers be? You have 4 ohm 2 watt speakers listed. What kind of variation can there be?
