FS/FT: JTAG-hack capable Xbox 360 (for homebrew)
I have a xenon model Xbox 360 that has not been updated since 2006 and is therefore capable of the JTAG homebrew hack. I have NOT performed the JTAG hack. That will be up to you.
When I acquired it, it was RRoD but I repaired it by replacing the X-clamps with screws and washers and applying new thermal paste to the heatsinks. As a result, it is being sold AS-IS but I promise it will leave me working great and has been working great since the repair.
Comes with system only. No cables or hard drive. Will make a great 2nd xbox for hacking. I'll try to get pics up later.
So make me an offer! I'm looking for money or cool stuff.
Here's some things I'm looking for:
Toploader NES
Virtual Boy Games (Any)
Virtual Boy AC Adapter
Saturn Games
Dreamcast Arcade Stick
Atari Jaguar
GOOD NES Games
Color Dreams NES Games
Anything else retro

The modded PS2 was all I'd be interested in, but I'm gonna wait to see what other offers I get.Harshboy wrote:Anything you see in my FS thread that you are interested in trading for?
What condition is the zelda game & watch in? Does it have the box, etc? What cube games do you have?ninjamonkey wrote:Ok, I have a e-reader, zelda game and watch, gamecube games and a mostly dismantled n64. anything of interest?

Its in good condition as I bought it off ebay. It has the battery cover. On the end of cube games, I have Super smash bros, shadow the hedgehog, The Legend of Zelda Four Sword Adventures, Road Trip The arcade edition, and thats really it.
Edit: I could also throw in an phat PS2, a gh controller, Final Fantasy Tactics for the PSX, and gh2 with the game and watch.

I dont have any VB games right now so I'm open to anything. Probably like Wario Land, Mario Tennis, Mario Clash. I just acquired a Virtual Boy system but without any games so I'm anxious to start building that collection.

So how many?
I think I can supply you with a few
If not, I'm inclined to pay the hundred.

Well I just researched pricing on some Virtual Boy games, and it would probably need to be quite a few since they were cheaper than I imagined. Here's a list of all the US releases with an average selling price. If you can get it close to $100 with games and accessories you are willing to trade we can go for that (doesn't have to be exact, just getting in the ballpark). Otherwise, I'm cool with just the money. Thanks!
$25 - AC Adapter & Tap (REALLY need)
$4 - Virtual League Baseball
$2 - Mario's Tennis
$10 - Teleroboxer
$10 - Red Alarm
$10 - Panic Bomber
$7 - Galactic Pinball
$13 - Golf
$10 - Wario Land
$10 - Vertical Force
$15 - Mario Clash
$70 - 3D Tetris
$25 - Nester's Funky Bowling
$35 - Waterworld
$70 - Jack Bros.

Erg, I don't think I can supply you with that many games. Where are you getting these prices, anyway? Get me to that website
As for straight up payment, that is something I can consider.
I just want to get the picture straight, though. You fixed the RROD Xbox, but what is the chance of it breaking again and could I fix it?
Also, I may have a few other things of interest to you. For example, I have a Dreamcast with a lightgun, all the cables and stuff, including a VMU. I also have a PC joystick for flying games, an old computer/pda thing called "Compumate 2", an old B/W TV from the 70's and a few other things I believe. Interested in anything listed? If everything you want doesn't add up to $100 I can pay the rest in cash.

I got the prices from a combination of ebay completed listings and the Digitpress price guide. I tried to average them out as best I could.
If you can give me an AC Adapter with the Tap, Mario Tennis and Wario Land + $45. I could go for that.
I have no idea what the odds of the RRoD problem coming back are. I've heard nothing but good things about the fix I used. The screws I used are so much stronger than the X-Clamps, I dont see the motherboard getting warped again. I was shocked at how flimsy the x-clamps are...

I don't know what you are refering to when you say, "tap
However, I think I can easily supply you with both Mario Tennis and Warioland.
Or how about a never opened shrinkwrapped virtual league baseball?

Here is what the AC adapter and the tap looks like. It's the plastic clip that hooks the ac adapter to the system.
