Gamecube mod plz help

Im a noob at console modding and soldiering (but im learning that ) anyway i would like you to plz help me. I would like to do a led mod on the power led i was wondering how to do it, i want it to be rgb also if you can try and explain it in like a diagram plz.

P.S ( if you can plz explain how i can put a ps1 screen on there that would be helpful i dont want it to be a battery mod tho )

I have i just thought it might be different for a RGB mod like if you have to add any resistors or capacitors
