psp chatpad idea

Post by ninjamonkey »

I got a question. Do you guys think that the xbox chatpad stripped down would fit in the PSP slim case?

It will. The keyboard and board are under 1cm thick when the rest of the casing is removed.

EDIT: If the PSP is removed from the case. If the PSP is still in, probably not (unless the screen is moved).

hell. just get rid of the damn thing altogether. its not like its useful for anything anyway. :P

and, really? is the chatpad easily hackable? (knowing microsoft, the port on the bottom of the control is probably just reshaped usb  )

Someone wanted to make a PSP "laptop" a while back and I couldn't remember who. :P The slim does have TV out, so the screen could be completely removed.

They seem to be easily modified to work with PSPs, but I haven't read anything about it. It isn't USB. It is a type of serial port, as far as I know no one has gotten it to work with a PC. There is this massive thread on mp3car discussing it.
