Re: Xbox 360 Laptop Help
Any monitor. Preferably a 17" widescreen. The only one that anyone is familiar with on here is the Westinghouse Ben used in the tutorial or the gateway 1775w. Because you don't sound really experienced and will probably want to be able to ask about the screen, you better go with one of those two.

Re: Xbox 360 Laptop Help
ok, i searched on ebay and the westinghouse 17" was not on there so i will search for the gateway and see if there are any results.

Re: Xbox 360 Laptop Help
Both of the models collinE mentioned are long discontinued, so ebay or similar sites are going to be your only hope. The Gateway is pretty easy to find, if you're diligent in your price shopping you can find it for ~$80 or so shipped.
Re: Xbox 360 Laptop Help
ok, will taking the gateway apart be exactly the same as taking the westinghouse apart?
P.S I live in the uk And I have searched eBay for the gateway and the Westinghouse and no results, any1 know were I can get?
Thank You.

Re: Xbox 360 Laptop Help
I know nothing about finding stuff in the UK. If you search any classifieds sites or newspaper ads and still can't find it, then you can either find someone in the US to be your middleman. I'm sure someone would be willing to buy and ship it to you for a price.
Or you could familiarize yourself enough with monitor electronics that you could use any monitor you wanted

you slice off the power board and extend the power brick and put it in, then pull second power line off the main.stanokaka wrote:ok thanks, will do that.
