A few questions....

i have a few questions about my n64p im making... sorry for the bad pics.
Q1... can i remove these power things?

Q2... can i remove player slots 3 and 4? How should i wire controler one? and i want one more controler jack so there can be two players if i want.

Q3... i thought i heard somewhere that im sposed to soler this power butten like this... What will this do? what will happen if i dont?
