Onlive TV Box thingy
Onlive TV Box Controller
PSone Screen (or something similar)
Battery

Mushing it together with hotglue
and making the most awesome handheld console ever?

Maybe even throwing a little wifi adaptor instead of the LAN adaptor?

I think it could be pretty sweet plus cheap!

Heck, you could probably get a $200-300 used tablet PC and just use that. Chop a 360 controller in half and stick it in the sides for even more cool points. I wonder just how low the system requirements will be. Depending on the price, I would be very interested in a service like this. All of my computers are ok for web surfing, but are flattened by any semi-modern game. Onlive could remove my need for a gaming computer.

Yes but I think it would be a lot cheaper just to use their box... they claim it's super simple inside which of course means it's easier to hack

only if cost is your problem. I'm not convinced that it'll be good for people who are hardcore enough to have a gaming computer. The lag and compressed video will be worse than a PC gamer would want. Not to say it'd be terrible, but not what would be ideal.

The lag I think they have it handeld. Atleast from watching their video... the compression... I'm not too sure but it can't be bad on a handheld screen right?

There are adapters, the orginal X-Box didn't have wifi, but you could hook it up through a wireless bridge to WiFi. The latency added is probably about the same as going through a home router.

You just need an ethernet wifi bridge. Look into the WET54g.

And OnLive looks interesting, but terrible. StreamMyGame looks way better to me, and streaming locally is gonna be a lot nicer.

meh i signed up to beta for this, probably not gonna get in though. would make a nice portable though
