battery question

battery question

Hey can some explain to me how to tell how many volts a battery would have to be depending on the things you are powering and how regulators work. Thanks for any information you might have.

batteries are set voltage. you need different batteries based on what you are powering.
regulators modify hte voltage. not quite sure how. i will let wikipedia explain better:

Yes I understand that. The thing I want to know about is how to tell how many volts my screen needs and how many volts my console needs and how to regulate it from one battery.

it depends what your screen and console are. what are they?

Im planning on making a 360 Wireless Video Interface like techknotts. So Im planning on using this screen: http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetai ... N&dm=DEBUG" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I would also need to power a 360 controller and an av reciever.

The voltage is stamped right into the electronic device or the power adapter that comes with it.
