SNES Controller "Plug & Play"?

Post by Pucho »

I've been lurking these forums for a bit. Absolutely LOVE the work you guys do. Now I apologize if this has already been discussed but I was unsuccessful in my search...

With the popularity of these "Plug & Play" devices you see all over the place, I was curious if there has been any attempt here (or anywhere) to mod the SNES controller with A/V cables and a moded SNES board with flash memory? It's sounds like a tall order for such a small controller but I've seen it done with the NES and Atari.

I've decided to give it a go with my brother but not sure how realistic it will be.

Thanks and keep up the amazing work guys!!!

Unfortunately, I have yet to see a SNOAC. You could maybe do it with the Retro Duo, but don't hold your breath.

Nah, Nintendo wouldn't want to hand out the licence to their SNES games.
