VGA shielding

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

VGA shielding

Post by OMGpedobear »

I have a wii/ps3 to vga (components convertor really) cable arriving from amazon and Im wondering how crucial shileding is on the RGB lines and also on the H ysnc and V sync for the VGA side. Also, does if shielidng is needed can i jsut put it through some good old ide cable and wrap it in foil tape or does each component cable need to be individually shielded?
