what is the safest battery?

i was looking at the other topic when i saw a link to a battery store but i dont know what battery should be the best for my n64p (NiMH or Li-Ion) and do they have that explosion protection yet?

Nimh or alkaline would be safest, but most of the risk with li ion or lipo cells is gone now that we know to use protection circuits. Definitely go with lipo or li ion imo.

I'm not sure if they do or don't, just look in the specific item page to see whether or not it does or doesn't.

It would probably be cheaper to build your own pack by buying however many cells you need, a charger and a pcb for them.

r u sure that i should buy a li ion batterie? because i see in the website a lot of warnings and i dont even know how to use a wire x.x...if u r sure thats really better do u think that one

Hmm (no offense) but I wouldn't take snowpenguin's opinion as fact in all situations...

If you "cant use a wire" as you state, you might want to at least stick to the encapsulated type batteries like the ones for Sony cameras. Don't buy bare cells from batteryspace... Or just stick to NiMh batteries which will work fine too. Are you trying to make a particularly small or fancy portable? What will your case be made out of?

well my english teacher get off now so that should be hard to write... i will make my case with lego bcuz its easier and it shuld get a good looking and uhh im not sure what fancy means so i cant answer sry...

i really like the li-ion batteries bcuz they come with a charger xD
but i think its better for a newbie like me ur suggestion timmeh87 if they come with a charger
