thats where the power thing was on the SNES mini but i am replacing it with a different one and need to know which one is ground and what is the 7.2v or whatever?

Ground is the small one, postitive is the oval. (I'm almost completely sure, but double-check with an LED.)

dont bother. drop power into the 7805. much easier.
