Beginning preparations for my first portable. I have aqquired a case, the N64 console, various other neccesities (PTH08080WAZ, controller, wire, etc.) and will be getting a screen shortly. I just would like some opinions on a battery power source... I found this on ebay for $40 and it seemed like a great deal (maybe too great )
Just wondering if anyone has had prior experience/insights into this 3rd party battery. Any other reccomendations within this price range would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

All batteries like that one from Hong Kong are complete and utter crap. I have bought three of varying sizes , 4500 maH, 6500 mah, and 9800 mah. And they all are actually 1/10 of the rated size. So they were actually 450 mah, 650 mah, and 980 mah.
Do NOT buy a Hong Kong battery !!!!!! Buy USA if you want it to actually have the MaH rating that it says it does.

Thanks very much! That is exactly what i was afraid of. Been jipped by overseas products too many times... Well, I'll keep searching. I thought I had a good portable DVD battery, but it turned out to be dead as a doornail... Any recommendations in the $30-$50 price range? I'd like to get 3.5 amp/hrs or more.
