How To Charge Polaroid 7.2v 4200mAh battery?

Ok, so I have a 7.2v 4200mAh battery from a Polaroid DVD Player. The battery has 2 negative and positive metal contacts, and I have no idea how to charge it, and I really need to know how to get it hooked up.

You can also desolder the enter connector (plastic block) and just solder straight to the circuit board. Saves room.

Connect a 9vdc to 12vdc wall adapter to the charge contacts. Wire your portable to use the power from "LOAD".

If you short out the load terminals (or two wires short out that are powered by it) the protection circuit will disconnect the cells. You have to hook it back up to a charger to reset this.
