you know the aluminum plate that goes behind the N64 mobo? could i use that instead of making my own mount for a cartridge?
it looks like ben made a custom mount for his N64 cartridge on the back of the mobo, and i was about to do this when i noticed that the aluminum already there is predrilled with the mounting holes, so i could buy some screws and nuts (because mine are too big ) and then simply mount the plate that is meant to be connected to it.

cool, i went ahead and dremeled off the bit that encircles the expansion socket, but then my dremel died. hopefully it was just overheated, i don't want to buy a new one for sentimental reasons

the worst part of it is that it was my grandpas. my birthdays coming up, so i'm getting a new one fom my parents, although it'll probably end up being a dermel or some other generic one
