question on psone screen

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

question on psone screen

Post by HamooliKabobby »

I wired up all my led's and connected it to the wall adapter, and im getting a black screen thats illuminated (by led, of course) and when i push the volume/brightness buttons, the appropiate sliders come up on screen. There is no sony logo that flashes or anything, so im wondering if this is normal/midoingitrite.

Thanks in advance.

You will only get an image if you have it hooked up to a video source. Without a video source you will get an LED lit screen and the brightness / volume sliders.

Don't worry man you did it right, if you aren't getting a video signal then the volume/brightness meter wouldn't show up on screen.
