snes portable price

Post by bentendo64 »

im makeing a portable snes and want to know a few things:
1. are 2000mah batteries big enough for the system w/ a 3.5 or 4'' screen
2. should i use a 3.5'' screen for an unknown price, or a 4'' screen for $62.74?
3. on ebay, should i start it at the price it took to build, or more/less?
i am using the 1993 snes board, but will this use too much power?

I think so, but I'm not so sure. Wait for confirmation.

3.5", definitely. (As long as it's less than the 4", obviously. A 5" screen is about $60 so that price for a 4" is a ripoff.)

3. on ebay, should i start it at the price it took to build, or more/less?
Yes. Average portables sell for about $350, but outstanding ones, such as a the DreamTrooper, Darth64, and the Nintendo SuperBoy go for a lot more. It might be a good idea to add $5 per hour you spent working to the price, but as long as it doesn't exceed about $300.

I don't think so, you should wait for confirmation on this as well. But the major problem you'll face is its size. That will make for a much clunkier portable. I suggest using a RetroDuo, unless you already have a 1993 SNES with you.

The circuitboards inside the screen are the EXACT same thing as the Sony PSone screen, correct?

Just take pictures from a camera and then either hook it up with a cord or put the SD/MemoryPro in your computer and upload them. It's not that hard.
