Couple questions

Post by grayfox126 »

First question: My regulator is getting a bit hot, not enough to turn off the screen like in hailrazer's case, although, I do fear that, it may get even hotter once I place everything in the case. I added a heat sink, but it only helped a little bit. So, should this regulator have its own small fan or will it be okay? And if a fan is needed, what would you recommend?

Second Question: Do the Li-Po/Li-ion batteries with pcbs in the packs have to have another PCB if they are all connected in a series? And if I use a single Pack with an internal pcb do I need an external one? In addition would this be the right way to hook up the batteries without the internals?

I just dont want to ruin my progress or catch on fire lol. Help pls

Thanks in advance

It's an 8v regulator. And what about the batteries?
