gc power regulator questions

I'm making a n64 portable and my parents won't let me get any ti stuff because they ship with fedex. I have an opened gamecube rev b board with the power regulator in front of me. I need to know some stuff:
1. is it a linear regulator or switching regulator?
2. does it output 3.3 volts or 3.4 volts
3. has anybody done this with it working? if not, could it be done?
4. what's the smallest voltage you can put in here for just 5 and 3.3v?(I'm only doing this if it's either a switching regulator or 7.4v in(or both).

if your intention is make a n64 laptop using a GC regulator board, you are on luck


I also tested it some time ago and worked perfect.

1 last thing, what's the minimum voltage you can put through the gc board to get a good 3.3 and 5v?(yes, I know how to use the edit button!)

I heard the regulator board stop working below 10 volts, anyway I think there are people using 7.4 batteries with custom regulators
