PSP

centered:

A and B = 4.30 Kohms
A and D = 4.63 Kohms
C and B = 4.17 Kohms
C and D= 4.33 Kohms

Resistance when nub all the way to one side:

A and B =
left: 5.07 right: 1.68 up: na down: na

A and D =
left: 4.00 right: 4.38 up: 5.14 down: 2.24

C and B =
left: 1.79 right: 5.06 up: 4.22 down: 4.17

C and D=
left: na right: na up: 2.01 down: 5.36

the ones with na / hardly any change can be ignored right? the na was like when there was .01 of a difference

PS1

centered:

A and B = 5.95
C and D= 5.79

Resistance when nub all the way to one side:

A and B =
left: 11.00 right: 1.03 up: 5.94 down: 5.98

C and D=
left: 5.94 right: 5.35 up: 1.06 down: 10.5

directions taken facing the stick with tact switch at the top

so far it looks like the psp analog is pretty retarted :?

first time i had an opportunity to do this in between school so apologies for the real lateness

Well, I guess it's obvious what the problem is, although it seems like the PSP nub has 10K pots, they don't seem like they're working they way you need them to. I'm gonna see if I can get a PSP nub from one of my brothers, I think he has a few bad PSP's and I'll test it to see what I get.

i remember reading somewhere that the psp nub's resistance changes once it has current running through it (makes sense) but still.. the nub works fine on a normal psp
