The problem it's having is that I can start games but only play for a few minutes before it resets itself and then goes haywire. Google gave me several returns about the possibilty, two of them are fixable. I'm currently trying to diagnose it as a problem with the mobo, the jumper pak, or with the power adapter.
First, I went to the power adapter and took it apart and noticed there are a bunch of bridged connections on the solder side of things, and that the components on the top side of the board don't look like they're damaged or old like many sources said they would. If anyone knows, are there any connections on the solder side of the N64's power adapter that absolutely cannot be bridged?
For right now, I'm going to set to work and photograph the bottom side of the board, then desolder all of the bridged connections and see what happens from there.
