The Princess and The Frog

I guess I'm a little slow and didn't know that this movie existed. If I'm not mistaken Princess and the Frog will be the first Disney musical since Tarzan (which came out in 1999, and it wasn't much of a musical.. I'd probably have to go with Mulan in 1998). I always thought that Disney had gone "downhill" recently. Don't get me wrong, I completely loved wall-e, up, etc... but nothing has ever been quite the same as the Disney musicals I loved as a kid and still love today. Sorry I guess I'm just really excited for this movie to come out.

Hm. Haven't heard of a new disney musical coming out. Hopefully it'll be at least watchable.... Unfortunatly, I somehow doubt it tho. As all the music will more than likely be that aweful poppy-crap garbage pooped out by their terrible tween-aimed pawns (i.e., jonas bros and the HS musical trash).

You make a really good point Schmeman. My favorites of all time were the Disney classics like Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, heck ill even go with the aristocats!(i think they were disney?).

Walle was absolutely beautiful from sound quality, to the emotional storyline. Havent seen Up yet but I have heard great things. Not to get too off topic but I would like to point out that Meet the Robinsons was VERY underrated considering how beautiful of a movie it was.

I am really excited about The Princess and The Frog too because it has a lot of the same feel as the classics (or at least the trailer). I am trying to think of the last good disney cartoon...hmmm.....I may go with Emperors New Groove, I love it! Not much after that I dont think...

Oh, and who can forget Sabastian from the Little Mermaid? lol that lil guy was a pimp.
