USPS parcel post. Some will say media mail, but game systems do not fit in the media mail category.

Parcel Post will cost around $6 for a Genesis 3 to almost anywhere in the US.

USPS flat rate box. Pack it in crumpled-up newspaper instead of peanuts if you're worried about static.

Depends on how much the package weighs and how far he's shipping it. Plus, the flat rate boxes ship in 2 days. Depending on how far you're shipping, Parcel Post takes 3 days to over a week.

I calculated sending a 5 pound package (what Amazon.com says the Genesis 3 weighs) shipping from Boston MA to Taunton MA, about 25 miles away. The small flat rate box (8-5/8" x 5-3/8" x 1-5/8") turned out almost $2 cheaper than Parcel Post and was estimated to get there a day sooner. I'm not sure if a Genesis 3 will fit in that box, but shipping further will raise the price on parcel post.

I think I'll go with parcel post. I asked the guy to give me $6 to ship thinking I could use a flat rate, but it didn't fit in the $5 one. Alright thanks guys!

Yea well a Genesis 3 by itself weighs less about a pound. You can ship a 1 1/2 pound item anywhere in the US parcel post for less than $8. The Genesis 3 will only fit in a medium flat rate box which costs $9.85 to ship. So like I said parcel post will be the cheapest
