A couple of months ago, I started work on a GameBoy Advance conversion of the old arcade game GORF. I recently put the finishing touches on the game and am really happy with the final product... so much so, in fact, that I'd like to make cartridges for both myself and a few friends. I'm just wondering how I would accomplish this. Sure, I could just settle for playing the game on a flash cart, but I'd like to have a dedicated cartridge for posterity's sake. Besides, ROM cartridges tend to use less battery life than flash cartridges do.
I know it's possible to do this, since I've seen a million shady Hong Kong outfits sell copies of popular GameBoy Advance titles on eBay. However, is it feasible with a limited budget? Could I make a run of twenty or thirty cartridges and keep the costs fairly low? I know there are people who have made ColecoVision, 2600, and Vectrex cartridges, but could you make a GameBoy Advance cartridge with battery/SRAM backup at home, using a PROM writer? If so, where should I start? Thanks in advance for all your help.
Oh, by the way! Here's the game in case you're interested.

Re: Feasibility Study: Making a Dedicated GBA cartridge
The usual technique is to replace the ROM chip on a game, but in your case it may be better to have boards made. You may still need special chips, though. My knowledge here is quite limited.
