As said in the title, I want to buy a laptop or palmtop. My budget is currently about $150, but I plan on selling some stuff on ebay soon, so my budget should increase in a couple weeks. I'm watching a few ebay auctions, so if you have something you'd sell for a bit over $150, contact me ASAP.
In a laptop, I'm looking for a 10" or smaller screen (touchscreen is a plus). Processor should be at least 1GHz (I would settle for a 900MHz Celeron EEE). At least 512MB of RAM, upgradeable to 1GB+. Hard drive size doesn't matter a whole lot. Battery must last at least 30 minutes while under load (wifi on, playing videos, etc). Doesn't have to come with wifi if it has a PC card slot, but it would be nice. Disc drive would be nice, but not necessary. If RAM and/or HDD are not included, I may still want it. None of the specs I want are set in stone, but I would like to stay as close as possible. A 12" screen would be ok if its a tablet.
In a palmtop, I pretty much only want an HP Jornada 720 or 728. I may consider a NEC MobilePro 900c. A wireless card is a plus, I don't care if it comes with a CF card.

You might wanna change the title to "netbook" instead of laptop. I don't think you're gonna find any full Laptops with a 10" screen, or for under $150.

i have a nokia n810, that i might sell, for about 150. its in pretty good condition, but the screen has some big scrathces on it. they arent really noticeable when the screen is on, though.

No thanks. I had a n800, liked it, but it just seemed so half done. I edited the first post. I bought some stuff, so I'm low on cash (job(s) almost guaranteed soon, though
). I'm going to save a bit for a laptop, so I can get something that isn't already obsolete. I'm still interested in a palmtop, though.

Fujitsu lifebook B2610-2630 with some searching. great computers tooI don't think you're gonna find any full Laptops with a 10" screen, or for under $150.

I have an HP Jornada 720 in good shape, I think I can locate the wireless card as well, comes with the docking station but no stylus or pc cable. Make me an offer!! I should be able to get pics if you need them. Here you go:
