quick wuestion: soldering iron, tips etc.

im looking to get a soldering iron with a smallish tip that would be good for stuff like soldering to the finer chips of the SNES and n64 (and every other console for that matter). would it be better to buy a new soldering iron with a finer tip or is it possible to buy another smaller tip for my current soldering iron? (duratech 25w)?

You should be able to find a compatible tip. Tips are everywhere, check to see that a Radio'Shack tip won't fit, then check online.
