Re: Portable N64 Help? (1st portable)
my original facepalm was not entirely about the chances of getting a gamecube in a zn-45

Re: Portable N64 Help? (1st portable)
Quick questions...
- What wattage does the 2k Ohm resistor have to be?
- What voltage does the 100 uF Electrolytic Capacitor have to be?
- If I want to change the led does the new one have to be a 3.3v?
- Is there a max mAh for the batteries, or can I get the highest mAh I'm willing to buy?
Thanks again guys

1- doesnt matter
2- doesnt matter (i've used 16v and 35v)
3-doesn t have to be a 3.3v led but a 3v-ish led will give the best results (brightness etc)
4-no max mAh for batteries, basically the sky's the limit as long as it will all fit in the case

Blaze, the voltage of the cap does matter. It must be above the voltage used, usually twice it.
For an application like this, no, wattage should not matter much, it needs to be at least 1/2o of a watt.

Super noob question.
How would I go about splitting the wire like in the diagram here?

...AND what does this mean in the psone screen diagram

Thanks

Well on the first one just solder another wire to that wire and then connect it where it's needed.
And on the second one I'm pretty sure that is the three wires that are connected together to bypass the headphone jack and get the audio working if you don't include the headphone jack.
