need some help: dreamcast vga mod

hi,

i now, i have already a thread, where i asked some questions about the vga mod of the dreamcast. but this time i'm seriously want to do this mod. so i have some question. first things first. i found this tutorial on the web. today i went to a electronic shop, and there they asked me, what for 220uF capacitors i need (for which voltage) and what Silicon diodes i need (for which ampere).

i hope some can help me answer this questions.

a last little question: can i take the same diods as leds? so they flash when they doing a process?

16v or 35v caps will be fine.

For the diodes I would think 1.5A would be fine.
