You can get a XenoGC (probably clone) for less than $10 shipped at almost any decent modding site.

Are you gonna go with that battery I linked? It's a great bargain

started working on the case a bit. its gonna be like a laptop kinda

still not done. i'm gonna finish after i re-wire some stuff on the gamecube so it can fit on the inside

it won't power on at all :/ i'm about to just buy a new screen if i can't get it to work lol

if i can get the schematics for CASIO PCB-D5103-M then i could get the screen to work most likely

started to solder it today, half way done

been doing some casework and got the disc drive situated correctly also got the controller port somewhat done and in the front theres a spot i need to fix up. also eliminated the lid sensor by bridging the two pins so i don't need to keep it taped down anymore. will post pics in a second
