What is the best USA signal for a Zenith PSone screen ?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

The "best" signal to use would be RGB, but as always you have to ask yourself if it's worth it to you. I personally haven't seen a major difference between RGB and composite on a screen that small, so I just use composite.

Oh, and one more thing:    (quit staring at me!)

For the screen? Yes, yes it is. Please refer to this ancient image found in the screen sticky:

If I remember correctly, in addition to using the red, green, and blue inputs you also have to input +5v to pin 12 as seen in the above picture. Am I missing anything, anybody?

As for your system - well, that depends on what system you are using. Some output RGB, some don't.

You're using a PAL GameCube with an NTSC screen? Of course it won't work.
