need a 5" lcd for portable

And how thick are they?

I bought 10 of them on Ebay for a really good deal. It was a risk because they weren't officially tested, but when I recieved them I doubled checked them all, fed about 9 volts to them with a camcorder feed and they worked fine.

Thickness, like no more than 3/4 of an inch with the largest components, namely the ones responsible for the CCF tube's voltage needs.

So did you just test the screens to power on with the battery? Did you check if the video worked as well for the screen?

Camcorder feed stated above was what i checked em with video wise. Video works fine, they powerup, and they have been tested at 5v.

what is the quality on these screens like? is it better or worse than a psone screen? i may want several. (even though i have 12 screens sitting on my desk right now )

I dunno. I'm gonna do a quality check later, sit em next to each other with the same input possibly. Its just a pain atm to wire up video feeds until i get some better gadgets to hook up the screens with. Although, i'm very thankful they came with a wiring harness and instructions.

This post is in regards to anyone that has purchased a screen from me. I've got 3 lined up for shipping, and should be headed out by tomorrow. I did some extra testing on them to ensure there is nothing wrong. They are working up to a 100%, no dead pixels, no scratches, nothin!

I may perform an extra test tonight to show people the results of the video quality compared to the PSone screen.

Be aware, at this moment I'm not selling anymore LCDs. Not trying to be exclusive or rude and what not, but I saw the one person in need of a screen. It kinda turned into a spree of people sending me PMs asking for screens.
