1. Has anyone successfully used 7.4v to run a Gamecube with multiple Ti regulators for the other voltages?
2. On the controller , the guide says to just unsolder the Left and Right triggers and then extend the wires. But on an Official Gamecube controller the l/r triggers are quite complicated. What are some methods that people have used to mount/wire these?

Question 1:
Yes, Zenloc got the gamecube to run off 7.4v 4000mah battery for 1 hour and 20 minutes with just the cube alone. (no screen or anything like that.)
The bad news is that if you run the cube off 7.4v, the cube draws 3000mah, but if you use a 14.8v then the cube only draws 1400mah!
You would also have to build a custom regulator if you ran the cube off of 7.4v
So it's possible to run the cube off 7.4v, but it's not suggested.

In that post it has all my info on the custom regulator.
Note that TI Card are not effective to make a custom regulator. They get very hot and need proper heatsinking. Switching regulators are the way to go. Much less heat and higher effecience

Actually, it works out to nearly the same playing time. The watts (what really matters) are really close, about 20w for each.
