Re: need a 5" lcd for portable
I have a few LCDs layin around called Prime View, 5" TFT LCDs with backlight.
The Driver board is as small as the screen and is built onto it in one nice package.
No Speakers, no amp. No idea on the resolution.
Its rated for up to 12v DC, but i've tested them with 5v and it runs.
Still haven't calculated the draw, it runs on a CCF tube......

They come with a wiring harness and manual for the pin outs and simple power and video connections.
(Main input power feed, Composite Video feed, and the ground required for that half)
It also has some pinouts for controls of the screen if you experienced with wiring up controls for something like this.
The screw posts are located on the back so....i can see how that can sometimes be an issue with some portables.
I'll go as low as $20 + Shipping.
I live in Texas.

The screens weren't designed with audio components, unless you just mean that you would make an amp yourself and put it in your portable?joeyjoe9876 wrote:i live in Virginia so it shouldn't be that much for shipping. and i got the audio stuff from the crappy non working Intec screen i bought so i'm good there, as long as i can hook up audio to it i may be interested
