today there was a power sourge while i was playing my Xbox and it killed it. i opened it and the main Board had scortch marks and wouldnt power on, so i figured build a DOOM 3 machine and put in the XBOX case.
Why do you want a floppy drive? If your going to fit the essentals into the case why not get a mobo that supports USB thumb drives and do away with a drive thats over 10 years old.

why would you want the guts their all scortched and melted, and i want to use a Floppy becouse i want to run Win Milennium Edition instead of XP. anbd with milennium i would need sometimes to boot off a Floppy
get 98! In my op. it's a heck of a lot better than xp or me.
not only did xp and me slow my system down, but both of them crashed at least once a week, and each time they lost at least 3 important files of mine.
I'd like the guts to poke around with, since you can't sell them or use/fix them, why not give them to somebody who wants to experiment with them (me!) If you agree, I'll PM you with an address.

Sounds like you have some program confictions. Because I have XP and the only time it (seems to) crash is whe I try to play a DVD (system reboots). I find it really fun you like 98 more, my dads computer has it and it crashes about once every two weeks.

Personally, if I have to use a Microsoft OS, I use Win2k, it's fairly stable and compatible will all the software and games I've tried to run on it.
But I really prefer my Mac, and rank both OSX and OS9 above Windows. Dual G5 baby!

If you want to rid yourself of all those problems with Windows switch to *BSD, Linux, UNIX.
