Using original NES controller on Super Joy

Hello everyone, I am new here so please be
gentle. And thanks but I already know my
spelling sucks.

I want to install a Super Joy into my dead
NES case and have the original controllers
operate it. Does anyone know how I can
do this? If I haft to I will hard wire the
controllers and have jacks hidden in the back.

Would really appreciate any suggestions.
