I remember playing the display Dreamcast every time we went to Target - Crazy Taxi was awesome!

Didn't get one until about a year ago, and that was the first game I got for it. Still a blast to play.

I invited a friend over and played about an hour of Unreal Tournament in honor.

I also had a friend over. Played Soul Calibur and Outtrigger for a couple of hours, then I played Grandia 2, Sonic Adventure, Jet Grind Radio, Ikaruga, and some Crazy Taxi for a few more hours.

I didn't get one until like 2-3 day's after 09-09-99. They were sold out everywhere. I can't tell you how many hours my room mate and I played NFL 2K.

I still play mine regularly, Bangai-O is the #1 game I play. I also love Jet Grind Radio, Samba De Amigo (with maracas), and the fishing games.

I always wonder if Sega had made the DC DVD based that Sega might still be making hardware today.

Beloved Dreamcast....

I miss you so. I remember the first day you swept into my Software ETC store where I was a 3rd key Supervisor. You were being cradled in the District manager's arms and it was April (or something) and your US release was still months away. We plugged you into a crappy display tv and I got a be the first to connect your wires and give Sonic Adventure a try. I knew that the new generation of gaming was officially dawning. As part of our promotion, I used your amazing graphic capabilities recorded through a VCR to arrange a demo tape for my less than enthusiastic DM. Then I handed a 10% done version to her and she demanded that I finish as much as possible and then replicate it 15 times. I added so much pop and sizzle to the gameplay, you seemed like a rockstar. Our tape went to states and our district took top sales for you, Dreamcast. I personally presold 118 of your shiney, 128 bit Brethren. I even got to shake the hands of a REALLY high up VIP from the company because of what I could do to your brilliant games. Alas, though, I was never compensated...And all the future Corporate videos looked suspiciously of my original. After the 9-9-99, I picked up my new DC and played Soulcalibur till dawn.

When I heard that your had to leave almost as soon as you had made it to market, a small part of me died. The end of a new beginning.

I still have you in a box, and I secretly break out the Crazy Taxi. IN full spite of my 360, PS3, and Wii...
