Help me find 90's clothing/accessories!

Post by ValiantVenality »

Hey there everybody. I'm in need of help. I have always been attached to the style of 90's clothing. Well not ALL of it, but I like the majority of it. Is there any places on the internet that you can buy like hats, shirts, wallets, watches, shoes etc from the 90's? I would absolutely love it! Since most of you are older you'll know the styles of the 90's too and you could at least point me in the right direction. I mean I was alive for the majority of the 90's, but I dont remember too much of it seeing as I was just a child. Thanks in advanced!

Try thrift stores. Those would be a great place to look.

1. Find denim jacket at thrift store, or flannel shirt
2. Find extremely light-colored jeans

Now here is the hard part; wear them.
There you go.

Maybe if you want to dress like a prep from the 90's. :wtf:

I seem to remember a different 90's. Punk. Dogchains, black t-shirts, pants at your ass, etc.

I still wear a dogchain to this day. It's permanently attaching my wallet to my belt. My belt is old and in need of replacement, but nothing beats black with silver rivets.

I dress in all dark colours. I've hidden from friends easily before by blending myself in to a patch of bushes. I wasn't hiding behind anything, either. It feels safer. Just got to hide my white-ass skin. On a typical day, I wear a slightly oversized t-shirt (not ghetto oversized, just long enough to hide anything that might be on my belt or poking out of my pockets, and black jeans, with the aforementioned chain. I don't think my clothes have changed since the 90's.

For lack of a camera, out of focus webcam will have to do. My brightest shirt.

I'm so glad it ISNT the 90s/early 00s anymore :P

Btw, Topman sells checkered/flannel shirts, and probably demin jackets too soon (they are becoming big again in the UK)

Go to thrift stores and that to see if you can find acid washed jeans, i'm not sure what you'd want to do for hair, suppose to match the look you dont want to ever brush it ever :P

Europe's always been a few years behind us. I remember when I went to Germany, and Bare Naked Ladies was the biggest new band. This was in 2001, I think.

From what I remember, pretty much the only 90's fashion that isn't identical to this decade is old flannel and 70's stuff.

My jeans are torn up acid washed jeans. But they're from acid spills and sharp tear-ey things I encountered.

Still no word from the OP on what exactly he's going for.

It's all starting to blur again, shoegaze is taking over mainstream indie music ever so slightly and it's basically all the same stuff, people are starting to care very little about what they are actually wearing again, and out come bowl haircuts, flannel shirts and torn jeans again :P

Only I hate grunge so i'm gonna have to give this trend a miss ¬_¬

I'm really not looking forward to 90s revival tbh, everything in the 90s was absolute cack

I like grungey music. :(

A little bit of realism and rawness could benefit today's music.

It will make a nice change from all the pretenious-middle-class music people seem to love.

Which is boring
