That all depends on the size of the altoids case. If it's big enough I'm sure you could use 2 coin batteries to power it (although not for long)

speakers, or a preamp, or an mp3 player, I'll try to find the links, but just googling altoids hacks should bring them up.

Ladyada made an MP3 player in an Altoids tin.

I'd make an LED flashlight or a speaker out of it. (Hey, I did it with a tic-tac box...Image)

Why not use it in conjunction with the PSX->PC contoller mod and make a controller for your PC out of an Altoids case?
Warranty-Voiding fun!

I think you could squeeze a NOAC in there. You'd have to use th crappy built in games, exteral controller and video, but its do-able. And I think something like two AAA would be better as I doubt highly that those watch batteries have the amperage or capable of sustaning that kind of draw compared to what its ment for.

or simpley cut a hole for the cartrige slot AAAs would not fit inside an altoid case you would have to also have the bettery case on the outside if you where to do that I belive there is probubley a better option something like the flat batteries they have inside poleoroid film cartriges would probubley be best

Or use one of those big Altoid tins, make the screen mounted to the lid, so it flips up, with little metal strips to keep it up at around a ~160(degree) angle.

The big Altoid tin has more promise since it could fit other systems.
