they're usually around $20-$30 in the game stores around my area...
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

If it costs any more than $45, pass. My local Gamestop locations sell the PSX (boxy original) for $20, and the newer PSone for $30. (they don't have the screens in the store, but they do have them online for $20 on top of the price for a PSone. )

Does Gamestop even sell Psones? In my store there's a vat of old PSXs, but no psones. They don't even have them on their website. I don't want the lcd combo, because i already got it. I also checked on ebay, and there are very few, and most are like $50. Where does everyone get their psones?!!

That all depends on what the customers trade in.
Gamestop near me:
-no psone screens
-never heard of "hip gear" anything
-nothing older than PSX and n64
-NO SEGA ANYTHING!

Any gamestore you go to will overcharge you. Go to some pawn shops, they should have one for about $10.

I went on superpawn.com, and they have some psones for about $12, but they kill you with $20 shipping. Still $32 isnt bad. Their PS2s are as cheap as $90 which is really good (Gamestop is $130). It would be really great if I lived near Vegas or Reno, where all of Superpawn's shops are. Oh well :( .I havent gone to a pawn shop yet, but the only one near me is called Fred's Jewlry Loan. Does this mean that they only sell jewlry, or a lot of pawn shops like this?

That's only if they have about 3 or 4 in stock. I'll see what I can do. I probably won't be able to get it, but maybe at the flea market.
