what's the deal with the playchoice 10 thing? portable mario world? i'd play it.

Playchoice 10 was an arcade unit with 10 NES game cart slots. You would put in a quarter, and play the game you wanted. Don't bother with this, however. The PC10 version of Super Mario has a time limit, less lives, and fewer chances for 1-ups (free lives). The NES version was more fun. Cool novelty, though!

oh, that really stinks. yeah. it is cool. i always find the weirdest things on ebay. one guy claimed to have a haunted super famicom and it showed the pic with a clearly photoshopped cat onto it and made up some story, and some people were like "hey! if you look close enough you can kind of see a cat! it must be haunted!"

You can replace the nes ppu with the playchoice 10 ppu so you can output rgb from your nes

Yeah, that would be nice. But I would hate to pay $50+ for a big motherboard, only to rip out the PPU and discard the rest. I wish there was a place to buy the RGB PPU's alone...

then perhaps you could put the PPU from the nes into the playchoice 10 and av cable mod it
my shure there would be a point to that but I dont know what it is

why can't you just get an nes cart, take out the eproms, and put those eproms an whatever else in a nes cart?
