Are you talking about Zombieland? I think that movie looks pretty good. Sure there are about a million and a helf zombie movies, but somehow I never get sick of them. I guess I just like that "disaster" survival type of movie. Funny thing about Cliche's is that if they weren't good in the first place people wouldn't feel the need to overdo them.

Movie is great. Although the entire first somewhere around 30 minutes I'd say, is almost a comedy in my opinion, but after that it turned into a serious Sci-fi movie. Definitely recommend watching.

Its an amazing movie, but the thing is. Its sort of a cliffhanger ending.
There may be another movie, and I'm sure it would be amazing, but for the people who watched the first, they'd already know most of the plot.

The main problem of the movies ending is that, if there was a sequel we would already know most of the sequels plot. Due to the fact that, they hint so much at what would happen. It'd be called "District 10", the mothership would come back with more prawns, and rescue the other prawns from earth. There may be a fight with humans, or the humans may join forces to fight off another attacker (Think about it, why were they in the ship in the first place? Fleeing from some type of other alien race?). The main character of this film, would get turned back into human, and would live happily ever after, after he clears his name and becomes innocent. Release date: 3 Years after the District 9 came out, I promise. (August 14, 2012). (I pick that date, due to the obvious. Christopher, the prawn. Promises to come back in 3 years, 3 human years, to help the main character again.

From what hotdogcart said in his spoiler (don't feel like quoting cause it would take up too much space) it completely reminded me of X-files. How i wish there was a new movie on december 18 2012, or whatever the date was for alien colonization. If anyone else watched X-Files =P

I doubt there will be a sequel anytime soon. It could be possible for the 3 years incorporation I suppose. Peter Jackson has quite a few movies he's working on right now.

That's the thing though - we've all been so trained into expecting sequels for movies with hanging endings by Hollywood that it's ridiculous. My wife and I had a whole conversation about this very subject after watching the movie. I agree with HDC - any sequel, although awesome, would not have any surprises. I think the movie is better off without a sequel, much like how the Matrix trilogy would have been so much better in retrospect if they had just left off at the first movie with a bit of a cliff hanger. That means we just all need to watch District 9 again

I saw it last night, and thought it was pretty good. Like others say, I think they needed just a tad bit more character development. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect, so I couldn't say if it was up to my expectations, since I didn't have any.

Sequel? I think not. Peter Jackson only had what?, $30 million to make this film? He did it all within his own production company and everything. I doubt there is gonna be another one, and if there is, I don't think it'll be very good.

I saw inglorious bastards. It was quite good, sometimes it would bore you but there was always something insane happening to keep you watching it. It was really well written and directed but they could have made it shorter without messing anything up. Acting was good aswell, i did find it kind of wrong almost like south park kind of feeling but it was also all about revenge so it makes you feel better.

I too saw Inglourious Basterds and liked it. It was a little dry and a little long, but the killing was graphic enough to keep you watching when it happened.

Tarantino's style is definitely unique. A little dry, but very entertaining none the less. While not my favourite movie, I did enjoy Inglourious Basterds.

Peter Jackson just produced this movie, it was directed by Neil Blomkamp (sp?) who was supposed to make the Halo movie a few years back.

Having now seen District 9, he certainly would have been the right man for the job! D9 isn't mind-blowing or anything, but it's pretty interesting.
