I know that, but I'm asking if it was possibly that there could be something wrong with the video connection. So where can I find somewhere to fix it?
Until I can upload some pictures, this is the best I can think of that might help me.

Wait a minute, I think I may have found the problem(s).
First off, which of the little prong-like things on the clamp that hold the screen to the motherboard are needed? Because one is broken. Second, the orangish-brownish thing came out of the clamp, as well. I put it back in, and it seems as sturdy as ever, but I'm worried I need a new screen.

Sorry to sayt his, but we need a picture to see what going on. With out it, im not surre if I can help you much.

Yeah, plover can you please post a picture so, we can see what your talking about.
The little clamps that hold the screen to the circuit board are not needed. They are just places you add screws so, they screen stays locked in place. Not needed for the screen to work properly.

No, the white clamp that the ribbon cable goes to. The orangeish-brownish ribbon cable that goes through the rectangular hole t the bottom-left of the screen. I'll get pictures up as soon as I can, but my sister's being an ass right now, and I don't have my own camera here with me.

Thars yer problem. I think. WE NEED PICTURES.
On one side of the ribbon cable, you will find the contacts. This needs to be pressed securely against the bottom of the connector. If the thingie that clamps it down is broken, hold it in real good and use some hot glue to keep it down, and be more careful in the future.
