Unfortunately, the reinstall isn't solving the problem. I'm using the Dell Diagnostic CD to run all the tests before I call back, though. Sadly, I'm getting used to this Acer Aspire.
I hate those Tech ppl... Especialy when they try to act like they know, but they dont know crap... Usualy they get the job when the owner are they friends or family related..
Ok back to topic. Did you try to remove the ram and clean it like I said a coupleof post above? There migth be a chance that you burned your RAM slot and not your RAM. I had the same problem yesterday. I whent to a best buy today in the morning and got my self a nice HP computer for $500 CAD
