Internet-Desktop Questions!
Well, I've gone around to buying a desktop to replace my laptop, and all was good until I came upon the problem of internet. I haven't bought the desktop yet, but I knew that it didn't have a WiFi card, or a way to wirelessly link to the Verizon router...downstairs. So I was wondering what I could do, an Ethernet cable is far too much trouble for this, since the router is pretty far away. Can I just buy a new router, link that to the new computer, and hope it can feed internet off of the Verizon one downstairs? I'm a lil perplexed, any help would be much appreciated (thanks in advance)!

Buy a PCI or PCI Express wireless card. It's your best bet, aside from having a regular Cat5e cable run from the router up to your room.
