Tiny Components
Whats the easiest way to solder these little guys?

OH MY GOD are those the ones I sold to you? I didn't realize they were that small!
Get a real fine pencil tip, or even a normal pencil tip would probably work, and solder them normally. If doing a pcb, I suppose you could tin the pads well and just stick the little guys on...

These are blue ones I took from a cell phone. I haven't gotten the ones you sent me yet.

Get some nice big blobs of solder covering all the pins, wit awhile for it to heat up, and slide off.

To get those little surface mount buttons off, I use a really small flathead screwdriver (like a jeweler's screwdriver or one form a Walgreen's eyeglass repair kit). Add a little solder to each pin, push the screwdriver under the part, and heat the two pins on the screwdriver side. It should lift up a little. Repeat on the other side. Alternate until it comes off.
SMD is tricky unless you have a really nice tip on your iron.

Once you people unleash the power of hot air you will never go back. You can remove 50-pin connectors in 2 minutes.

yeah. I didn't know that I already had a hot air embolzeling thing until a few days ago. It works great!
