He's saying he'll finish soon, thus he gets Palmer's money.

"Water"? Seriously? Come on. Are we still in elementary school, where cliche "codenames" were cool? If you could have a nickname, would you name yourself "Blade", "Ninja" or "Killer Dragon X"?

A grip for the DS has nothing to do with water. At all. This entire "Fire/Water/Wind/Earth" thing is corny beyond belief.

Did Katana or Blackbelt have anything to do with dreamcast? I don't recall seeing dreamcast in a martial arts dojo.

I just named them stuff like that until I have proper names. I'm horrible with nicknames for stuff, so I went with something that I'd remember.

Like I said before, pictures soon. Just gotta get time where I can get a moment off of work.

Katana was an official code name for the Dreamcast while it was in development. It was never in a dojo, but Sega called it the Katana before calling it the Dreamcast.

Anyways, the concept of what you are making seems somewhat useful. I wouldn't see the point in doing it myself, but it might accomplish being more comfortable for someone with large hands. Hope to see it finished soon!

Good idea: Get a good pair of grips for the GBAsp. They had the best ones, and the middle parts of it were flat. Dremel it in half, then put velcro on each side. Then, put the softer part on your DS, DSL, or DSi, and then boom. Instant win. It works, I did it.

Yeah, you're awfully close to finishing this.

Also, the Dreamcast and other consoles had names like that because they weren't a simple bondo/dremel job that would take an hour to complete. They were actual projects coming out of a business.

I don't codename making breakfast "Alpha", lunch "Beta", and dinner "Gamma". Just call your project by what it is and leave the childish codenames alone, please.

Shakespear, I havn't updated my sig.

No need to be rude about it.
How about this.

You leave my work to me, and I leave your work to you.

I can call my work anything I want. Theres no specific rule saying that I can't. Also, it doesn't matter if I'm some big business or not, as it looks like the definition stays the same for everyone.

Sound good?

Note: I do understand, that big companies have to make codenames to keep their ideas private and protected. I know that mine dont have to be protected. But, I'm just having fun. This is what modding is about. Why all the negativity?
