PS2 connected to VGA LCD Monitor- Can it be Done?

I've seen several conversations on this, but none really answered the question.

I have a PS2. Probably slim, we'll see.
I have a generic 15.4" VGA LCD computer monitor.
Can they be connected, and how?

I had thought that RGB signals were part of VGA, and I know the PS2 can output RGB.

So- how do I do this?

BTW- the end result of this will be a PS2 laptop that goes through power incredibly fast, just in case that matters.

not well, it will not look good, and it needs tobe a certain type of input. A VGA Cable was made by sony, so it can be done

this is the same principle as xbox vga, you either need a sync splitter or a monitor that supports sync on green

just get nice 8.4 inch screen and still have 15hours of battery life like I did. (Unmodded screen)

How can I check whether my LCD monitor is digital or analog signal? I recently change my cable line from analog to digital
I would like to make sure my LCD monitor runs with digital signal, how can I check it? Where does it say, whether analog or digital signal?
