Does the nintendo 64 have a socketed processor?
Or is any other internal hardware socketed?

Well no, not really. The Cart slot's pins go through the mobo and touch the pins of the Expansion slot. By socketed, they mean like IC sockets.

Its 95% surface mount. Everything is pretty small. You would probably want to use hot air to remove the CPU, RAM, or RCP. At least there's no BGA packages
