If I were to...

Post by ghosstt »

If I were to open up the 360 rechargable battery pack, take out the batteries and put them into a regular battery charger, would it work? The reason is, I don't want to spend $15 on a plug and play charger, and I can't find anywhere in stores that sells the AA battery pack. Any other ideas?

Not sure, but DealExtreme sells the cable for $5.36, or the cable+battery for $7.99 (free shipping on both).

It WOULD work, I mean, it's not like Microsoft owns and crazy alien battery technology. If the battery was the right shape and size to fit in the charger, and the right chemistry.

If they're NiMH and 1.2Volts each cell, yes. If they're Li-Ion or other voltage, no.
