Xbox 360 button MOD
I just finished creating my custom xbox 360 80's arcade cabinet and I am trying to wire the contacts of a normal xbox 360 controller to the arcade buttons on the face of my cabinet. Can I make a direct connection between them or do I need more components?

You should be able to just run the wires for the buttons to the 360 controller's circuit board.chainfire95 wrote:I just finished creating my custom xbox 360 80's arcade cabinet and I am trying to wire the contacts of a normal xbox 360 controller to the arcade buttons on the face of my cabinet. If i understand you then,
If you plan to use the LT/RT then I think i heard that you have to have a resistor and it has to be wired up a little different.
(Im thinking about making a ps2 arcade controller

Re: Xbox 360 button MOD
Ive decided to post some pics of what I have done so far. Without the buttons
Here they are.
These are older pics, since these I have finished the painting and lighting and drilled the rest of the holes for the controller buttons on the front plate. I also installed controller mounts on both sides.

By the way, the Christmas light were only to test the opacity of the marquee.
